A small room with a big heart

Muru's menu follows the season and the best produce of the day. Most guests choose the four-course Menu of the Day. Add the risotto of the day if you like.

Muru opened in 2010 and started Helsinki's bistro boom. Restaurateur Samuil Angelov, head chef Karoliina Narkiniemi and restaurant manager Tiia Romppanen still look after your evening in person.

Modest or grand, a wine has to stand for something and taste clean. Every wine on our list comes from a producer with a voice of their own.

We open several wines by the glass every day. Sommelier Demetrio Lombino and his team will find the right glass for you, or a rarity from the cellar.
